New Conference Format!   

Join us at NEFMA's Fall Conference, Marketing at the Moment of Relevance, at the Providence Biltmore which will include nationally renowned speakers and networking opportunities beginning with a luncheon on Thursday, October 19th, and concluding at 11:30 am on Friday, October 20th. The day and a half conference will include featured presentations as well as concurrent breakout sessions.

Keynote Speaker

Our keynote speaker at the Fall Conference will be Jim Blasingame. Jim is one of the world’s leading experts on small business and entrepreneurship. He is the creator and award-winning host of the world’s only syndicated weekday radio program dedicated to small business, The Small Business Advocate Show, since 199.  Author of three books, including his multiple award-winning new book, "The Age of the Customer: Prepare for the Moment of Relevance," which has sold over 75,000 copies. Jim has been a syndicated columnist since 1999, contributing weekly to newspapers and online publications, including,, American City Business Journals,, etc.  For his thought-leadership as a champion of Main Street businesses, Jim has been recognized by numerous national organizations.  Jim teaches businesses – small and large – how to achieve relevance in the Age of the Customer.

Introducing New Conference Feature: CFMP Workshop:

Scheduled immediately prior to the Fall Conference on the morning of October 19th, a separate two-hour CFMP workshop, "Maximizing Public Relations, Community Support & ROI" will be offered, with attendance limited to 20 individuals.  The workshop has been approved for 2.5 CFMP credits.  ICB Members must report these credits at

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be in writing. No cancellations will be accepted or refunds given after September 28th. Refunds before this date will incur a $50 processing fee.
