Conference Highlights

The Keys to an Outstanding Strategic Plan, Rich Jones, Strategist and Leadership Coach

Rich Jones is a noted national speaker on the topic of strategic planning. He will set the tone for the conference by addressing what it takes to have an outstanding bank strategic plan suitable for organizations truly seeking transformation and differentiation. In that context he will address how marketing can plan a decisive role in strategic planning through provision of data, insight and competitive information. He will link the strategic plan to the marketing plan and what steps the marketer can take to make sure that they work in harmony.

Digital Media Strategy, Amber Farley, Executive Vice President, FMS Social

Amber Farley is one of the nation’s leading speakers on digital marketing. She has spoken widely for bank industry education programs including many ABA programs. In this program, the “industry guru on all things digital” will take a step back to consider what strategy is required to succeed in the fast changing world of digital marketing. If you are struggling with how to get your arms around digital tactics that seem to change by the day, you will not want to miss this thoughtful presentation on who to make your digital efforts coherent, cohesive and above all, measurable.

How to Select the Perfect Branch Site, Todd Woodard, President, SiteTech Systems

We have all heard great presentations on how to make the branch suit today’s customer with increased technology, variable staff and reduced footprints, but what good is a superior branch if it is in the wrong location? Site selection expert Todd Woodward will help you to think strategically about location long before you decide on the interior fixtures. He’ll share some of the best insight from not just banking, but retail in general about how to choose the perfect corner. So next time a senior manager suggests a location that his brother in law just happens to own, you’ll be armed with the facts you need to guide your institution in a thoughtful, strategic direction.

Breakout Sessions:

  • Nuts and Bolts on Building a Great Digital Strategy, Amber Farley, Executive Vice President, FMS Social

  • Why Financial Education Should Be Part of Your Strategic Plan, Steve Rice, Executive Vice President of Financial Education, EverFi

  • Working Session: Building Your Strategic and Marketing Plans, Rich Jones,Strategist and Leadership Coach

With our breakout sessions attendees will have a choice of digging deeper on three of our best topics—digital strategy, financial education or hearing ways to strengthen your strategic and marketing plans. The breakouts are structured like classroom sessions with plenty of interaction so you can get the nuts and bolts information you need to craft your digital approach, build ways to use financial education as content marketing to create new touch points, or build a truly great strategic plan unique to your bank.

Combining Virtual and Face to Face Sales for Maximum Results, Kevin DeNorscia, CEO, Green Door Consulting Group

Today we have the benefit of many lead generators through highly targeted digital marketing, direct response and advertising channels. Yet such marketing potential is only realized if the sales force handling the leads has the motivation, focus, culture and technical support required to turn those leads into business. Ken DeNorscia will help you develop the strategy required to bring these two sides together and reach your full institutional potential.
