Keith A. Buscio, AVP, Director of Public Relations, Provident Bank

Keith Buscio has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services marketing.  He is currently an Assistant Vice President and the Director of Public Relations for Provident Bank, a $9.5 billion regional bank based in Jersey City, NJ.  Keith oversees the management of the bank’s reputation and brand, as well as media relations, sponsorships, donations, and events.  Prior to that, he spent more than 18 years in a number of key marketing, communications, and sales management positions with Santander Bank (formerly Sovereign Bank), where he was a vice president and responsible for supporting the retail, commercial, and specialty lending divisions. 

Keith has a long history of volunteering and community service.  He is currently a member of the Community Medical Center Foundation Board of Trustees and the Ocean County College Foundation Board of Trustees.  He is a past president of the Ocean County chapter of the American Heart Association, a former campaign chairman of the United Way of Ocean County, and served on the state board of directors of the March of Dimes. 

Keith holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration/marketing from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ and earned an MBA from Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ, where he served as an adjunct instructor with the Graduate School of Business and taught an MBA course on strategic marketing for several semesters.

A life-long resident of New Jersey, Keith currently resides in the Bayville section of Berkeley Township, where he is an elected member of the township council.  In his spare time Keith enjoys cooking, entertaining, craft beers, motorsports, landscaping, and home improvements.

     


  Brian Leupold, Managing Partner, VP of Sales & Marketing, LaunchDM

 

Brian has been with LaunchDM (Launch Digital Marketing) since 2012 working as the Senior Project Manager, Director of Business Operations, and currently Managing Partner, VP of Sales & Marketing. Prior to working at LaunchDM, Brian worked at Sovereign Bank/Santander where he was an Account Executive responsible for retail and commercial marketing initiatives, and corporate sponsorships in the Mid Atlantic Region. Brian is a graduate of Penn State University, with a degree in Communications.

 

     
    Kari Pencek, Communications Manager, Investors Bank

Kari Pencek is the Communications Manager of Investors Bank, one of the largest banks headquartered in New Jersey with more than $24 billion in assets and a network of over 150 branches in New Jersey, New York City and Long Island.

Kari has more than 30 years of experience in the advertising and financial marketing industries and started working for Investors in February 2011.  Her responsibilities include overseeing public relations for the Bank and its Foundation, including the management of media interviews with the Senior Executive team. In addition, she oversees the development of internal and external communications for the Senior Executives including writing their event speeches. Other responsibilities include the development of the Bank's product and brand marketing campaigns. 

Prior to joining Investors Bank, Ms. Pencek assumed the role of the NY Regional Marketing representative for Sovereign Bank when it acquired Independence Community Bank in 2007.  Kari joined Independence in 2002 where she served as the Director of Advertising and managed the Bank’s various agency relationships. 

She began her career in the advertising agency side of the business where she spent 19+ years working on clients such as Ricoh Cameras, Hamilton Watch, Rolling Rock Beer, the Irish Tourist Board, Chemical Bank, First Union Bank, A&E Network, European American Bank and CIT.  Kari left the agency world as a Management Supervisor.

Kari earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ.  She is a member of the NJ Bank Marketing Association and serves of the PR Advisory committee of the State Theatre in New Brunswick.

She and her husband Ron have two children – Rory and Kirsten.
