Responsibilities Include:
The ability to prepare monthly business reports/profitability analyses for the division. Provide pricing and profitability analyses on products as well as expense analyses. This individual must have the ability to calculate return on assets, and yield analysis on products. Participate in the final decision processes that have direct and relevant impact on departmental, business unit and/or company- wide financial management. Analyze, summarize and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, acquisition activity, new business planning, trends and future requirements and operating forecasts. Oversee the Division’s annual budget process and prepare variance analysis. Prepare forecasts and support the development of the strategic plan.

Qualifications Include:
A Bachelors Degree in business; accounting or finance is necessary. A minimum of 2 years of financial analysis experience in a retail banking institution; for example: calculating return on assets; yields and trend analysis. This individual would need to be an advanced user of software applications including Microsoft Excel and have a solid working knowledge of Access or financial databases.

Position Profile:
From WordCom's Home Office located 15 miles northeast of Hartford sell target marketing/direct mail services to Financial Institutions.

Position Functions:

  • Develop a strategic marketing plan to acquire new clients.
  • Execute marketing plan through calls, travel, proposals and follow-up to clients and prospects.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends.
  • Develop networking connections through Marketing organizations, conferences and speaking engagements.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum two years direct sales experience
  • Must be able to travel to see prospects 2-3 days every other week
  • Strong knowledge of direct marketing a plus (willing to train the right person)
  • Must be able to successfully call on mid-high level corporate executives to provide a consultative solution based selling approach
  • Self-starter and strong relationship seller. Our support staff will provide assistance for all client-servicing needs.
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Must demonstrate a successful track record of developing long-term business relationships.
